6.011 will be taught virtually this term. Links to previously recorded lectures will be posted sequentially for viewing any time after the preceding lecture. During the scheduled lecture hour (MW at 3pm), Professor Verghese will run a live Piazza Q&A session to allow real-time interaction with students who choose to watch synchronously. (A few lectures may happen live on Zoom, with subsequent posting of the recording.) Professor Hagelstein with run live interactive recitations on Zoom (TTh at 1pm and 2pm), with a recording of one or both recitations posted subsequently. Optional unrecorded sign-up tutorials, limited to 5 students, will be offered by the TAs at various times during the week. The staff's primary office hours will be unrecorded evening "common room" Zoom sessions (with breakout rooms as needed) hosted by one or two of the staff, 6-8pm on the weekday evenings preceding the Th or F homework submission date. Other office hours will be by appointment. Finally, the class Piazza forum will undoubtedly be very active.
