6.6510[6.730] Physics: Solid-State Applicatns

Spring-2021

Normally, 6.730 is taught with a combination of powerpoint presentation and blackboard writing and sketching, with the former showing figures and the latter for math derivation and sketches. In the virtual format, I will distribute a powerpoint file before the lecture, which will have plenty of blanks to write on. In the zoom lecturing, I will use an iPad to write the math derivation and sketches on those blank spaces. If a student has a tablet, he/she can just follow me and do the same thing. If not, he/she should follow my writing/sketching on a note book and label the slide # associated with each part.

I would like all the students to attend the lectures in real time. That said, my lectures will be also recorded in zoom and posted on MIT Canvas.
